Overview
The Direct Data Feed server is fully configurable market data server that receives, normalizes, caches, manages, distributes, and integrates real-time market data sourced directly from stock exchanges, content providers, and consolidated feeds. The DDF provides access to quote, trade, and other value-added data from many national and international feeds. Learn more from our currently available data feed.
The DDF has been specifically designed with multi-threaded implementation guaranteeing full throughput capacity, normalization of the incoming data to provide consistent data interfaces throughout the enterprise, support for publish/subscribe distribution, support for redundancy, load-balancing, failover, and recovery, control via administrative control panel.
The DDF is available on Windows operating systems and comes in the form of an executable and a set of configuration files. There are no limits imposed by the number of messages, subscriptions by a given instance of a DDF.
